The story of this particular piece began in the month of April 2020 when the whole world was locked up. To cheer up, Alexandra de V filled her house with carnations to infuse it with joy. Inspired by the magical pattern around the carnation’s petals, she decided to create this fine a piece bejeweled in rubies.
Thus, the ruby carnation was born, symbolizing freedom, prosperity and gratitude for living another day.
